Role overview
As the Technical Delivery Manager for our TrustX SaaS platform, you will coordinate the work of multiple engineering teams to ensure our product moves smoothly and reliably through development, testing, and production environments. This role is highly technical, but not hands-on coding: you will understand how our front-end, back-end, mobile, and cloud components fit together and use that knowledge to remove blockers, maintain alignment, and ensure high‑quality releases.
You will work closely with Product, Architects, DevOps, Developers, Quality Assurance, Pre‑Sales, and Professional Services to ensure the platform behaves correctly in customer scenarios, supports successful deployments, and meets our reliability and performance expectations. You’re the connective tissue between technical teams, customer-facing teams, and business stakeholders—ensuring clarity, continuity, and predictable delivery across the entire software lifecycle.
This is an ideal role for someone who thrives on technical problem-solving, cross-team coordination, and driving operational excellence in a fast-moving SaaS environment.
What you will do:
Technical Coordination and Collaboration
- Work with Engineering management, Product Management, Project Managers, and team leads to ensure that everyone knows what is going into a release and where the release is throughout the dev/qc/staging/prod process.
- Plan and react to change. As issues mount and priorities shift, be the calming force to deal with change with minimal disruption to ongoing efforts.
- Remove blockers. Own issues when they occur, help the team by driving the resolution and escalate as required.
- Manage the release process together with the team. Prioritize the QC needs as part of the process, participate in bug scrubs and act as a single point of contact for the QC Lead.
- Participate in P1 incident management
- Drive post‑incident reviews and follow‑through on corrective actions (bugs, tests, observability, process).
Customer‑Facing Delivery Support
- Partner with Pre‑Sales and Professional Services to ensure the platform behaves as expected in customer scenarios and deployments.
- Coordinate validation for customer use cases, performance needs, and configuration requirements; surface gaps early.
- Liaise with Support to feed operational learnings back into engineering and to drive root‑cause resolution for recurring issues.
What you have:
- 7+ years building and delivering enterprise‑class software products, including complex, multi-team releases.
- Strong technical fluency across modern SaaS stacks - you can discuss trade‑offs with frontend, backend, mobile, QA, and DevOps, and read code when needed.
- Practical experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred), containers/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD.
- Familiarity with Java ecosystems (e.g., Spring Boot, Spring Framework, REST using Spring MVC, Hibernate) sufficient to reason about services, APIs, and integrations.
- Experience with tooling such as Git, GitHub Actions, Maven, Jenkins, JIRA (or equivalents).
- Solid grasp of observability (logs, metrics, traces), feature flagging, configuration management, and release strategies (blue/green, canary, phased rollouts).
- Comfort operating across the full SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; able to triage ambiguity, structure a plan, and drive to resolution.
- Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience.
