As a
Senior Java Developer at Nomupay, your mission is to design and build
secure, scalable, and high-performance payment systems that enable businesses to operate seamlessly across global markets. You will take ownership of critical backend services, uphold engineering excellence, and collaborate closely with international teams to deliver reliable, future-proof solutions that power cross-border commerce.

Vilnius, Lithuania, who values in-person teamwork while contributing to impactful, international fintech platforms.
What You’ll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain clean, scalable, and high-performance Java applications supporting global payment flows
- Contribute to technical design and architectural decisions for mission-critical systems
- Write well-structured, maintainable code with a strong focus on long-term quality, security, and reliability
- Participate actively in code reviews, promoting best practices and knowledge sharing
- Collaborate closely with product owners, engineers, and international stakeholders
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance in distributed systems
- Support the continuous improvement of development processes, tooling, and standards
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5+ years of hands-on software development experience
- Strong expertise in Java and the Spring Framework (Spring Boot preferred)
- Solid experience with Hibernate / JPA
- Proven experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs
- Good knowledge of MySQL or other relational databases
- Strong understanding of software design principles, clean code, and best practices
- Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
