As our customer base and product continue to scale, we’re expanding our QA function to support faster delivery, stronger automation, and an even better customer experience. We’re looking for a QA Engineer who thrives in a collaborative, high paced environment and enjoys working closely with product and engineering teams to improve reliability across the platform.
The Role
As a QA Engineer at Barespace, you’ll play a key role in strengthening our testing processes across the business. You’ll contribute to both manual and automated testing, helping ensure every release meets the standards our customers expect.
This is a fully onsite role based in our HQ in Dublin 1 (IFSC), working closely with the team day to day.
What You’ll Do
- Plan and execute testing for new features, improvements, and releases across our SaaS platform
- Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, and API testing
- Build and expand automated test coverage using Maestro
- Support QA processes within CI/CD pipelines to improve release confidence and speed
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to define acceptance criteria and test scenarios
- Write clear bug reports and support prioritisation to speed up resolution
- Maintain and improve test environments to ensure consistency and reliability
- Provide testing insights that improve usability and customer experience
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and tooling
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years’ experience in QA / software testing (manual + automation), ideally in SaaS
- Strong hands-on automation experience, ideally using Maestro
- Experience testing APIs using Postman or similar tools
- Strong understanding of QA principles, defect management, and agile delivery
- Strong attention to detail and an organised, methodical approach
- Confident working cross-functionally with product and engineering teams
- A proactive mindset — someone who enjoys improving how things are done
Bonus (Nice to Have)
- Experience with tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or BrowserStack
- Familiarity with CI/CD environments and automated testing pipelines
