About the Role:

As a Procurement Analyst, you will play a key role in driving smarter procurement decisions by analysing data, monitoring supplier performance, and identifying cost-saving opportunities. You will provide actionable insights that improve efficiency, enhance visibility, and support commercial outcomes for the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement Analysis & Reporting

  • Examine procurement and spending data to uncover trends, risks, savings opportunities, and performance insights.
  • Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and scorecards to guide both operational and strategic decisions.
  • Ensure procurement data is accurate, consistent, and reliable across all systems.
  • Support compliance, audit, and governance requirements through detailed reporting.

Commercial & Supplier Performance

  • Monitor supplier performance, contract adherence, and key procurement KPIs.
  • Track and report cost savings, pricing trends, and on-time delivery performance.
  • Provide data-driven insights to support category management and sourcing initiatives.
  • Assist with forecasting, budgeting, and cost analysis across procurement categories.

Process Improvement & Collaboration

  • Identify and recommend process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to understand reporting needs and deliver tailored insights.
  • Collaborate with supply chain and demand planning teams to align procurement activity with forecasts and operational requirements.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Proven experience in procurement, commercial, or analytical roles.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and present clear insights.
  • Experience with ERP systems, procurement platforms, or inventory management systems.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including reporting and data analysis.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
  • Diploma or tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in manufacturing, warehousing, construction materials, or distribution environments.

Desirable

  • Exposure to international purchasing, import processes, or container ordering.
  • Familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Training or accreditation in procurement or contract management.

Why This Role?

This is a permanent, on-site position offering a competitive salary. You will have the opportunity to make a tangible impact through data-led procurement insights, work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, and grow your expertise in a dynamic supply chain and commercial operations team.
