Summary:

Group Insurance Claims Specialists to support with critical claims management activities. This is a hands-on, role that will manage an end‑to‑end portfolio across Income Protection and TPD claims, with potential exposure to Death & Trauma.

Non-negotiable requirements

• Minimum 1 year life insurance claims experience from an insurer perspective (not trustee-side, not general insurance, not workers' comp)
• Hands-on IP (Income Protection) and/or TPD assessment experience with delegated authority
• Able to hit the ground running, no training capacity whatsoever
• Strong written communication, file notes, assessment summaries, recommendations

Expert Summary:

• Experience in Group and/or Life Insurance claims management
• High technical proficiency in:
• Income Protection / Salary Continuance claims
• TPD assessment and decision making
• Demonstrated end‑to‑end claims ownership
• Proficiency in applying a proactive case management approach to support claimants with their recovery and safe return‑to‑work
• Ability to manage high‑volume, complex caseloads in a fast‑paced setting ( ~ 50 claims open at any time)
• Strong written communication and analytical reasoning
• Experience working within regulated insurance environments
