Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Principal Transformation Consultant to lead organisational change and transformation initiatives across large-scale SAP S/4HANA programs. This role is ideal for a senior consulting professional who combines deep transformation expertise with strong stakeholder management skills and has a proven track record managing third-party delivery partners within complex enterprise environments.


Working closely with executive stakeholders, implementation partners and internal technology teams, you will ensure that transformation programs deliver sustainable business outcomes by aligning people, process and technology.


This is a high-impact leadership role suited to someone who thrives in complex client environments and can confidently influence senior executives while driving accountability across multiple delivery partners.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead organisational change and transformation activities across enterprise SAP S/4HANA implementations.
  • Manage and govern third-party consulting partners, ensuring delivery quality, commercial accountability and alignment to business objectives.
  • Develop and execute enterprise-wide change management strategies that support successful technology adoption and business transformation.
  • Partner with executive stakeholders to shape transformation roadmaps, manage organisational readiness and mitigate delivery risks.
  • Establish governance frameworks, transformation reporting and adoption metrics to monitor program success.
  • Conduct stakeholder analysis, change impact assessments and organisational readiness reviews.
  • Build executive sponsorship and drive engagement across business units to support transformation outcomes.
  • Collaborate with SAP functional, technical and business teams to ensure people, process and technology remain aligned throughout delivery.
  • Coach leaders and business teams through organisational change while embedding sustainable capability within the organisation.
  • Identify transformation risks early and implement practical mitigation strategies to maintain delivery momentum.
  • Support vendor governance, commercial discussions and executive steering committees throughout the program lifecycle.


About You:

You are an experienced transformation leader who understands that successful SAP programs are driven as much by people and organisational adoption as by technology delivery.

You'll bring:

  • 12+ years' experience delivering enterprise transformation and organisational change programs.
  • Extensive experience supporting large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation programs.
  • Strong experience managing external consulting firms, systems integrators and third-party delivery partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate confidently within complex stakeholder and political environments.
  • Deep knowledge of organisational change management, transformation governance and business readiness.
  • Experience designing change strategies, communication plans, stakeholder engagement frameworks and adoption approaches.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance business priorities, delivery risks and vendor performance.
  • Excellent executive communication skills with experience presenting to C-suite executives and steering committees.
  • Experience across large enterprise organisations within industries such as Financial Services, Government, Utilities, Infrastructure, Healthcare or Telecommunications is highly regarded.
  • Previous consulting experience within Tier 1, Tier 2 or major advisory firms will be highly regarded.
