  • Preparing accurate file notes, assessment summaries and claim documentation
  • Escalating complex or sensitive matters appropriately and contributing to peer review processes

What We're Looking For:

  • Minimum 2 years of life insurance claims experience from an insurer perspective is essential, experience within consultancy is an advantage
  • Hands-on IP and/or TPD assessment experience with delegated authority
  • Proven ability to manage a high-volume claims portfolio independently
  • Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
  • Sound knowledge of the Life Insurance Code of Practice and relevant legislation
  • Experience with group and/or retail life insurance portfolios highly regarded

Please note: General insurance, workers' compensation and trustee-side experience will not meet the requirements for this role.

The Details:

  • Contract length: 12 months (with potential to extend)
  • Location: Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne
  • Start: Mid-July 2026 - immediate availability preferred
  • Rate: Commensurate with experience

Why This Role:

  • Work on high-impact programs driving real improvements in claims outcomes
  • Gain exposure to diverse insurers, operating models and claims portfolios
