Responsibilities will include:


• Receipt of project handover from Sales and Tendering teams on behalf of LV

Electrical Design Engineering team.

• Reviewing handover information received, providing feedback and requesting

clarification on SOW.

• Create and communicate LV Electrical Design Engineering team design plans to

PMO team.

• Complete Engineering portion of project master sheet and ensuring project design

plans are kept up to date during project execution.

• Leading the design responsibilities on projects, liaising with internal & external

stakeholders as required.

• Completion of project related Electrical Designs as required in conjunction with the

ECAD Team.

• Working directly with the client on all technical RFI’s, design deliverables and

technical reviews.

• Receipt of any updated specifications or SLD’s and communication of implications

of same to wider team.

• Organizing and facilitating any technical calls or meetings with the client.

• Communication of design plan and design deliverables with Electrical CAD Design

Team.

• Coordination of same to ensure on time completion

• Review and approve designs and BOM’s ensuring all are in line with client

deliverables.

• Liaising with the assigned Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, ensuring alignment

on deliverables and timelines.

• Coordinating any running changes with the assigned Senior Mechanical Design

Engineer during the design phase of a project.

• Act as escalation POC for Supply Chain during the design phase of a project.

• Coordinate handover of design to Production Team once approved for construction.

• Escalation POC for the Engineering Support Team.

• Working with Compliance Team on regulatory topics relating to new projects,

products, regions or standards


Requirements:


• Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or similar with minimum 3 years experience

in similar environment.

• Previous experience designing low voltage power distribution products.

• Demonstrated success working to prescribed standards.

• Experience with Solid Works Electrical or similar electrical design software.

• Experience of Building Management Systems would be advantageous, but not

essential.

• Have excellent communication skills with a professional approach to work and sharp

eye for detail.

• Good team player, but capable of working independently.

• Driving License and Access to a vehicle

• Willingness to travel if required.
