Role Overview:
We are seeking a motivated HR professional to join our team and help us shape an outstanding employee experience while empowering people and the business. This is a stand-alone HR role in Serbia, where you will be the key HR contact locally while actively collaborating with our global HR team with representatives in Dublin (Ireland) and Fairfax, VA (US).
This is a one-year contract role with possibility of extension to an indefinite period.
Role Responsibilities:
- Manage the full end-to-end recruitment process, from talent sourcing to successful onboarding, ensuring the best candidate experience
- Handle the entire employee administration life cycle, including contracts, records, and compliance with local labor regulations
- Serve as the main point of contact for all local HR-related matters
- Partner closely with senior and middle management as a trusted HR advisor, providing guidance on people-related matters and contributing to strategic decision-making
- Continuously work on initiatives to improve employee satisfaction, engagement, and overall workplace culture
- Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures to ensure alignment with best practices and company culture
- Lead and oversee the performance management process, supporting managers and employees in achieving their goals
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field
- Solid knowledge of Serbian labor law and HR best practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust across all levels of the organization
- High ethical standards and the ability to consistently “do the right thing,” even in complex or challenging situations
- Proactive, self-driven, and able to work independently in a stand-alone HR role
- Hands-on experience in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and HR administration
- 3+ years of experience in a broad HR role (generalist or similar), preferably in an international environment
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
