In this role, you’ll shape how CarTrawler’s story is visually experienced by partners around the world. Leading a small, high-impact design team, you’ll define the creative vision and strategic direction for how we present our propositions, pitches and partner experiences ensuring every touchpoint reflects our innovation and brand strength. Acting as a bridge between Commercial, Product and Marketing, you’ll translate complex ideas into compelling visual narratives that drive connection, clarity and growth.

What you’ll do as Head of Value Creation:
  • Play a central role in ensuring that CarTrawler’s enterprise strategy and M&A activity combine to unlock sustainable, long-term value. 
  • Reporting directly to the Chief Value Creation Officer, the role supports the shaping and delivery of CarTrawler’s value creation agenda across both organic and inorganic growth. Working closely with Corporate Development, Finance, and broader Cross Functional Leaders within the business, the Head of Value Creation helps translate strategic priorities and acquisition rationales into clear value drivers, aligned plans, and measurable outcomes. 
  • The role has particular exposure to M&A value creation, including supporting the transition from deal rationale to post-acquisition value delivery, while maintaining a broader enterprise perspective across strategy, performance, and transformation. Operating in a highly cross-functional environment, the role brings analytical insight, structure, and alignment to CarTrawler’s most critical strategic initiatives, and provides a strong development platform for a high-potential leader. 


Main Accountabilities and responsibilities:
  • Enterprise Value Creation 
  • Support the CVO in the development and ongoing refinement of CarTrawler’s enterprise strategy and Value Creation Roadmap. 
  • Help translate strategic priorities into clearly articulated value drivers, initiatives, and success measures across the organisation. 
  • Partner with the Leadership Team and Finance to ensure alignment between strategy, value creation priorities, and functional plans. 
  • Provide analytical insight and structured challenge to strategic decision-making at enterprise level. 

  • M&A Value Creation & Post-Deal Integration 
  • Work closely with the Corporate Development team to support the assessment of acquisition opportunities, with a focus on strategic fit, value drivers, and integration considerations. 
  • Contribute to investment discussions by articulating potential value creation levers and key risks from a post-deal perspective. 
  • Support the transition from acquisition rationale to post-deal value delivery, helping to shape integration priorities and value realisation plans. 
  • Provide oversight and tracking of post-acquisition value creation initiatives, ensuring leadership visibility on progress, risks, and outcomes. 
  • Act as a strategic point of connection between CarTrawler and acquired businesses, supporting alignment and focus on priority value drivers. 

  • Value Tracking, Governance & Executive Insight 
  • Support the design and operation of governance, tracking, and reporting frameworks to monitor delivery of the Value Creation Roadmap. 
  • Work with Finance to track progress against key financial, operational, and strategic value drivers. 
  • Develop high-quality materials and insights to support executive and board-level discussions. 
  • Help ensure focus remains on initiatives with the greatest potential value impact. 

  • Strategy & Transformation Support 
  • Contribute to enterprise-wide strategic and transformation initiatives, working in partnership with functional leaders. 
  • Provide structured problem-solving and analytical support on complex, cross-functional topics. 
  • Support the prioritisation and sequencing of strategic initiatives across the organisation. 

  • Team & Capability Development 
  • Work as part of a small, high-performing Value Creation team, contributing to a culture of high standards, collaboration, and continuous improvement. 
  • Help embed value creation and integration best practices across the organisation. 
  • Build strong relationships across functions to enable effective collaboration and delivery. 


What you’ll bring to the team:
  • Minimum 5 - 7 years of experience in strategy, management consulting, private equity, corporate development, professional services or a related role. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Strategy, Finance, or a related field 
  • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or Certified Management Consultant (CMC) certification an advantage, but not essential.  
  • At least 3 years in a senior or lead role supporting executive-level decision-making or strategic delivery. 
  • Experience supporting or contributing to enterprise strategy development, including translating strategic priorities into structured initiatives and value drivers. 
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities simultaneously. 
  • Exposure to M&A activity, including: 
  • Supporting acquisition assessments and diligence, and/or 
  • Contributing to post-acquisition integration and value realisation efforts. 

  • Demonstrated success in strategic portfolio management, performance tracking, or transformation delivery, ensuring initiatives translate into measurable business outcomes. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data and insights into clear strategic recommendations. 
  • Evidence of execution focus, capable of turning strategy into action, maintaining momentum, and ensuring delivery of high-quality outputs under tight timelines. 
  • Experience working cross-functionally with senior leaders, influencing without direct authority, and navigating ambiguity with sound judgment.
