This is a remote position.
A Construction Site Hardware Product Manager leads the development and lifecycle of physical tools, heavy equipment, or IoT jobsite devices. They bridge the gap between engineering, manufacturing, and on-site contractors to ensure tools are safe, durable, and profitable.
We are seeking a candidate based in Ireland, the UK, or the wider EMEA region who has experience with construction technology, safety hardware, and camera/video-based solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy: Define the product vision, mapping market demands, pricing, and ROI for construction companies.
Requirements & Design: Create highly detailed PRDs (Product Requirements Documents) that account for rugged conditions, battery life, and strict safety certifications.
Cross-Functional Leadership: Work closely with mechanical, electrical, firmware, and software engineers to integrate physical hardware with tracking or telemetry software.
Supply Chain Management: Manage Bill of Materials (BOM) costs, sourcing parts, and coordinating production quality with contract manufacturers.
Go-To-Market & Training: Coordinate product launches and create technical documentation so sales teams and contractors know how to utilize the equipment.

- 3+ years of experience as a Hardware Product Manager or in a similar product role.
- Experience with construction technology, construction site hardware, safety equipment, or related industrial products.
- Strong experience with camera systems, video technology, and connected hardware devices.
- Understanding of hardware development lifecycles, from concept through manufacturing and deployment.
- Experience working closely with engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams.
- Familiarity with IoT devices, telemetry systems, or video monitoring solutions is a plus.
- Ability to translate customer and business needs into clear product requirements.
- Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience defining product roadmaps and leading product launches.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Product Management, or a related field preferred.
